Joanne McCauley CPA

Managing Partner

Joanne has had a varied career in Accounting and Finance since 1986. Previous employers include the Reserve Bank of Australia, NSW Treasury Corporation, JP Morgan and Chilis Texas Grill. Joanne found her way into the field of taxation in 2002 through a position with Hadleys CPAs in Baulkham Hills. It was here that Joanne found her passion in tax law, combined with other business experience which allowed her to provide clients with practical and understandable solutions to their accounting problems. She founded Jigsaw in 2008.

In her spare time, Joanne enjoys keeping fit and being a footy mum. She and her family share a love for Rugby League. Whether it is watching her son play, her husband coach, or watching professionals play on television – if it’s Rugby League, she will be there.  Her favourite times are when the whole family are over for dinner and can all sit around the table while sharing a meal and a conversation.

Michael Konarzewski CPA

Partner

Michael joined Jigsaw Accounting and Taxation Services in late 2014. He previously worked with Joanne at Hadleys CPA. Prior to 2014, Michael was a tax auditor for the Australian Taxation Office, in the General Compliance ($2m+), Wealthy ($5m+) and High Wealth ($30m+) Individual Taskforces. Michael’s career has encompassed finance/marketing/sales/business analyst/IT roles for multinational companies; financial accounting and technical legal advice at the ATO; before settling down as an auditor for over 5 years. Michael has extensive experience in Small Business matters, and still retains an active role in his father and brother’s business in Western Sydney.

Michael’s passions are 4WD’ing and photography. He regularly undertakes freelance writing and photography projects for various publications. Michael considers himself a bit of a handyman, building decks, landscaping and fixing his car. Now his time is spent building cubby houses and arts/crafts for his toddler.
